Today in the morning i was reading an article on corona virus pandemic in India and i read about Aarogya Setu App by goverment of India. This aplication is really effective for finding coronavirus positives around you. So let me inform about this app .
As Prime Minister of India Narendra Modiji mentioned during his speech about Aarogya Setu app that all citizens shoud download the app to help the fight against coronavirus.
This application is available on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store. This app uses location data to point out people that have come in close proximity with any coronavirus positive patient. This app needs to access to location at all times and also asks for bluetooth access after dowload. Once the user provides these permissions, the app requests for some basic info that will help build data about the users. This information require users gender, age, name, health status, and country. Then it asks if the user will be willing to help in times of need.
After this , a self-assessment test is put forward where the user is asked about their current health and whether they are showing any of the symptoms of coronavirus. This app considers Bluetooth range as a proximity sensor under which the user can be infected by another coronavirus positive patient. When two smatphones with the app installes in them come in each other's bluetooth range the app will exchange information. If one of the user is positive , the other person will be alerted about possibility of being infected. These potentiel cases are then notifed to goverment for further testing........
